Terms & Conditions
Eligibility
Clients must be registered businesses in any country to subscribe to Virtual Address Melbourne services. International clients must provide a valid identification and payment in a currency acceptable to Virtual Address Melbourne.
Proof of Identity
Clients are required to provide and validate their email address, phone number, and a valid ID, such as an Australian Driver’s License or a current Passport. Clients must maintain updates on all mailing addresses.
Activation of Services
Services will commence upon receipt of payment. Virtual Address Melbourne reserves the right to limit mail handling to return to sender until the client's identity is verified.
Membership
Virtual Address Melbourne services except bulk parcels are offered to support businesses' operations. Members must not cause disruptions that affect the welfare of staff and other members of Virtual Address Melbourne.
Mail Handling and Notifications
Virtual Address Melbourne will handle mail and notify clients on a daily basis when they receive mail at their virtual address.
Mail Forwarding
Mail forwarding is available upon request, including international mail forwarding of both letters and packages. Clients must pay for mail forwarding services, and they are responsible for any and all fees associated with mail forwarding or additional mail handling requests. The client agrees to be liable for all content being forwarded to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
Parcel Storage
Virtual Address Melbourne provides free parcel storage for up to two weeks, after which a fee of $5.00 applies for each week (or part thereof) for each parcel stored.
Postage and Courier Charges
Any incurred postage or courier charges are passed on at cost without any markup or margin added.
Limitation of Liability
Virtual Address Melbourne will not be liable for any losses or damages related to the use of their services.
Termination
Either party may terminate the services by providing 30 days' notice from renewal date. Termination may happen sooner without notice if Virtual Address Melbourne believes that the client is engaged in illegal, immoral, or unethical actions. Non-payment will result in immediate termination of services with no refunds given.
GST
GST may be added to the member's invoice.
Payments
Subscription payments are annually, and they will be automatically direct debited. Non-payment of the invoice will result in the suspension of services until payment is made. Virtual Address Melbourne will not offer refunds for the annual service fee.
Suspended Services
Services will be suspended if the account is in arrears. Members will have to pay the account balance and the service re-engaging fee ($50) to continue using the service.
Insurance
Virtual Address Melbourne maintains public liability insurance for the location and workers' compensation. Members are responsible for their property and have to seek insurance as required to protect their assets.
Business Hours
Virtual Address Melbourne is open between 7 days a week, from 5:30 AM to 8 PM. There are no services on public holidays, weekends, and December 25th to 31st.
Disputes
If a member believes an error has occurred on the invoice, they have to notify Virtual Address Melbourne within 14 days. If the matter can't be resolved, it can be escalated for resolution.
Indemnification
Members must indemnify Virtual Address Melbourne and each employee, subscriber, or contractor from any claims or expenses arising out of using Virtual Address Melbourne services.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
Virtual Address Melbourne has the right to make changes to these terms and conditions to cater to changing business needs. All members affected by any changes will be given three months' notice.
